Statement of Faith

We believe in the one and only true God existing in three Persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; each active in creation (Genesis 1:1,2, 26), and redemption (John 1:1-14). And we firmly believe and teach that Jesus Christ is God (1 Tim. 3:16; 1 John 5:20).

We believe the King James Bible to be the infallible, inspired words of the living God; purified and preserved without any provable error for us in the English Language (Psalm 12:6,7).  It is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

We believe that through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world. That sin has separated us all from God, and that only through Jesus Christ can we be reconciled to God (Romans 3:23, Romans 3:10, 1 John 3:8).

We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16), was born of a virgin by the power of the Holy Ghost (Luke 1:35), and that he shed his Divine blood (Acts 20:28) on the cross of Calvary as a vicarious substitute for all sinners (1 Timothy 2:6).  He was buried and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:4) by his own power (John 10:18), and ascended to the right hand of the father, from whence He will personally return for all those that accept Him as their personal Savior at the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:16,17).

We believe that the penalty for sin has been paid by the ONE sacrifice forever of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary (Hebrews 10:10-12) through the blood atonement (Leviticus 17:11, Romans 5:11), of his offering himself as the sacrificial Lamb of God, but that His blood is not applied to a sinner’s soul until he accepts the free gift of eternal life by faith (Galatians 2:16).

We believe that salvation is offered freely (Romans 6:23) to all men, and is only obtained by GRACE through FAITH (Acts 15:11, Ephesians 2:8) in the shed blood of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:25) without any mixture of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:9, Romans 3:28, 4:5).

We believe that once a sinner trusts Christ’s shed blood and righteousness for salvation, he is immediately sealed with the Holy Spirit of God until the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13), and is eternally secure (John 3:16, 10:27-29).

We believe that all true born again believers in Christ are a part of the Body of Christ, a spiritual organism that scripture refers to as the Church (Ephesians. 1:22,23), which is Christ’s bride. We do not believe there is more than one body or bride of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13).

We believe that Baptism in water by immersion, is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12; Acts 8:36-39). Water baptism is not a requirement for salvation. Rather, we are saved by grace through faith, apart from works (Ephesians 2:8-9).

We believe that the Baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of the speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance (Matt. 3:11; John 14:16,17; Acts 1:8; Act 19:1-7; Acts 2:4).

We believe that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter. He guides us in all areas of our lives. He also blesses us with spiritual gifts and empowers us to yield the fruit of the Spirit (John 14:26-31, 1 Corinthians 12-14).

We believe that the Holy Communion is a celebration of Jesus’ death and our remembrance of Him (1 Corinthians 11:23-34).

We believe that God wants to transform, heal, and provide for us, so that we can live blessed and victorious lives that will impact and help others (3 John 2).

We believe in the priesthood of every believer (Revelation 1:6, 5:10), and that God commands each believer to walk in the Spirit and not after the flesh (Galatians 5:16),  and, that believers are in the world, but not of the world, and should therefore live by the standards set forth in the word of God to show the world that they are different (2 Corinthians 6:14-17).

We believe that Satan, or Lucifer, is a real being (Matthew 4:10,11, Revelation 12:9), who seeks to deceive mankind (Rev. 12:9 and 13:14) and damn their souls to Hell.  We believe that hell is a literal place of fiery torment (Mark 9:46-48, Luke 16:24) for all souls that reject Jesus Christ and his sacrificial blood atonement for their sins, and all souls therein are destined to an eternal lake of fire (Revelation 20:13-15).  We believe all men have a free will to either choose or reject Christ as their Savior (Joshua 24:15, Mark 1:15, John 3:18, Acts 17:30).

We believe in the imminent, pre-millennial return of Jesus, which is two fold: First, in love to receive his bride unto himself at the Rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:16,17, and 1 Corinthians 15:51-54), and secondly, in wrath to destroy his enemies, and to set up a literal, visible kingdom of one thousand years upon this earth with Him as the Ruler, as prophesied in the book of Revelation chapter twenty.  We further believe in the pre-tribulational rapture of the church.

We believe in two distinct judgments to come for all individuals. One, for a Christian, called the Judgment Seat of Christ, not to judge whether or not he is saved or lost, but to determine his rewards in service for Christ (1 Corinthians 3:11-15, and 2 Corinthians 5:10). And, the other, called the Great White Throne Judgment, for the lost who will be judged according to their works and cast into a lake of fire for rejecting Jesus Christ as their Savior (Revelation 20:12-15).

We believe the head of the Church is the Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:22, 4:15, 5:23; Col. 1:18), who is the head of all principality and power of the church (Col. 2:10), and not a man, an organization, a diocese, a religious denomination, or a secular government.
